I checked with www.flightstats.com to see if there are any flights listed to Dominical, and I didn't see any. The closest that SANSA will get you to Dominical is Quepos, and you can always find a flight to Quepos. You might check with the national tourism institute, or ICT, or you can check our website for tour operators. You should be able to find someone who will get you as close as possible to where you want to be.

I agree with TicosLand. I checked the Nature Air website. They fly from Pavas Airport to Palamar Sur and Quepos, not Dominical. I also checked the TicosLand website, and there is information there regarding tourist transports. You can contact any of them and request information.

no there are not. I don't reccomend you to take the plane from SJ to Quepos beacuse quepos -Dominical way it's really bad... You will preffer to taker the fly from SJ to palmar sur and the do to dominical... I copy the following advice from wilitravel "make reservations for Sansa (or nature air) air flight to Palmar Sur and get a car rental to meet them there. From Palmar Sur to Dominical is the best road in the country, thought to support the future plans of an international airport in Palmar Sur. Looks like the Lufthansa Airlines will be your best bet from Moscow to San Jose. It should only be about 11 hours, but because you'll probably have to connect in another city like Frankfurt or Los Angeles, it's more like 14-15 hours.

Russia is a big country. Some destinations are better accessed across the Pacific (since you are in CA?) and some destinations have much easier access across the Atlantic. It would really help in getting a closer estimate if you stated what city you wanted to go to.

I went with Mexicana last year to Monterrey connecting in Mexico City. I didn't get to do much planning before hand I just got the first flight available. This is due to the fact that my grandmother had just passed away. But I would say it was a pretty normal flight ...... even though Mexicana was delayed for several hours on my way to Mexico city and on my return trip back to San Jose. So I don't know about the airline but other than that you should be fine once you get on the plane. Just go to sleep, that's what I do. I'm a nervous flyer too.

I'm going Costa Rica is there anyway to get to Tamarindo from San Jose if our flight arrives after 5pm
I'm going Costa Rica is there anyway to get to Tamarindo from San Jose if our flight arrives after 5pm?
I noticed that many of the flights and buses stop running around 3 pm (15:00). Can anyone tell me a way to make it to Tamarindo in the evening that doesn't cost too much? Thanks.

the airport is really in Alajuelal...why the hurry?...stay the night there and check it out...their are many hostels there for just $10 a night

The cheapest thing to do would probably be to stay in alejula where the airport is or in San Jose. Even if your flight lands around 5 it still takes 30min to get to San jose where the big bus stops are.
