With the new airport rules about the water bomb stuff. What time should I be headding to the airport in San Jose (SJC) if my flight is at 9:25am, Southwest Airline. Flying to Las Vegas (LAS)

About two and a half hours before depature
2 :
I would plan to be there an hour before your departure! You should have everything all done within an hour without missin ur flght! Have a fun trip!!!=)
3 :
Camp out there all night. Be there at like 7
4 :
I don't think you have much to worry about because your flight is not international, however, I would still arrive 2 hrs before the plane departs to be on the safe side.
5 :
you need to call the airport and ask, with all the homeland security issues now at hand.
6 :
About 1.5 hours in advance.... check your shampoo, toothpaste, makeup, etc in your suitcase and check it... You won't be able to bring any of that stuff as carry on any longer.. Oh by the way, the correct spelling is Las Vegas... Have fun!
7 :
You should arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to departure For current details about the airport security procedures, go to the website www.tsa.gov Remember that you cannot carry on anything that is liquid or any gel like substance (this includes gel insoles for your shoes) All passengers must now remove their shoes. Remember the floors are usually very dirty so wear socks on your feet.
8 :
Try 7 a.m.
9 :
with the way things are going at the air port i would show up at least 3 hours earlie.

flights from Long Beach CA to San Jose CA

flights from Long Beach CA to San Jose CA??
I will be in Long Beach in a month and want to visit some friends in San Jose. I would prefer not to drive as it is a bit too far for me. Are there local flights between the two places? or am I faced with Los Angeles to San Francisco?

Yes, there are flights. Check US Airways and America West. They seem to be the only two with options. Unfortunately, they seem to be about 300 bucks at the moment, but all travel is going up. Good luck.
2 :
Just checked travelocity, doesn't look like there are non-stop flights. American west goes via phoenix. Same goes for long beach to San Francisco or Oakland. There are direct flights from Los angeles to San Jose though, on united and american.

There are plenty of carriers between Long Beach, CA and San Jose, CA. American, Delta, US Airways, America West, and Aloha Airlines to name a few. That is not to say there are a lot of cheap fares. Plan in advance. The difference between buying spur of the moment and in advance is about $200 ($523 to $348). The drive between the two cities is about 5 hours. If you have the wheels, it is a straight shot up Highway 5.

There are flights between these two cities (the airlines mentioned by the other responders appear to be correct). Realize, though, that you may find cheaper flights into San Francisco and/or Oakland. Getting to San Jose from SFO is a cinch, even without a car.... just take BART to Millbrae (1 stop) and Caltrain into downtown San Jose. OAK to San Jose is a little more involved. Take the AirBART bus to Coliseum BART... BART to Fremont... then VTA 180 bus to San Jose.
5 :
There are no direct flights between Long Beach and San Jose. If you don't want to go to LAX, try Jetblue. They fly from Long Beach to Oakland. The rest is easy on public transport. And they're pretty cheap. You have to use their website though. They don't book through the big travel sites. www.jeblue.com

Take a flight from the San Jose airport to Long Beach airport.

Yes, you can take Megabus from San Jose to LA. It's a 6 hour journey that leaves at 9:20 am from Diridon Station. It's cheap, safe, fun, and reliable. Book early and you could pay as cheap as $1 each-way. To get to Lakewood, take the Red Line from Union Station to 7th Street Metro Center, then take the Blue Line towards Long Beach and exit the Wilmington Station and transfer to the Green Line towards Norwalk to complete your journey to Lakewood.
