Flight Time/Duration --San Francisco to San Jose (Costa Rica)?
In a few months, I am flying to San Jose, Costa Rica. I understand that it will probably have a stop or two, but not including a layover or airport time, about how long will I be flying? (I booked this through a group tour organization, so I have no flight details yet, just the destination.)

It all depends as to where your group tour organization booked the flight through but here is what I got. . . US air - could be a connection in Charlotte, NC totaling in flight time of 14hours and that includes time in the terminal. Continental from sfo - with a stop in Houston it could be 10 hours. Mexicana with a stop in mexico city, MEXICO could be 13 hours 55 minutes so it all depends Have fun !!

How long is a flight from Phoenix, AZ, to San Jose, CA?
My sister and I are going on a plane from Phoenix to San Jose to visit our Grandma for the summer. How long will it take to get there? A good guesstimate from a website link or what do you think? ***EXTRA*** Can I get cheaper tickets if I order them now?

1 Hr 58 mins direct. (From United Website). And yes, the sooner you book, the better. Southwest.com was the cheapest fare - $196 Round trip!

Less than 2 hours, exactly 1 hour and 53 minutes if there is no stop over. Yes, order them now to save. I found ticket prices starting at $153 (one-way), best value you can find.

It depends on your layover time - there are no non-stop flights from SFO. There are non-stops from LAX though, with flight times of about 5 1/2 hours.

I checked with www.flightstats.com to see if there are any flights listed to Dominical, and I didn't see any. The closest that SANSA will get you to Dominical is Quepos, and you can always find a flight to Quepos. You might check with the national tourism institute, or ICT, or you can check our website for tour operators. You should be able to find someone who will get you as close as possible to where you want to be.

Yes, go to Nature Air http://www.natureair.com/ These flights are almost always filled, best to book way in advance

I agree with TicosLand. I checked the Nature Air website. They fly from Pavas Airport to Palamar Sur and Quepos, not Dominical. I also checked the TicosLand website, and there is information there regarding tourist transports. You can contact any of them and request information.

no there are not. I don't reccomend you to take the plane from SJ to Quepos beacuse quepos -Dominical way it's really bad... You will preffer to taker the fly from SJ to palmar sur and the do to dominical... I copy the following advice from wilitravel "make reservations for Sansa (or nature air) air flight to Palmar Sur and get a car rental to meet them there. From Palmar Sur to Dominical is the best road in the country, thought to support the future plans of an international airport in Palmar Sur.
