Flying round trip in to San Jose, Costa Rica. Staying near LIR international airport. What is the best way to book a flight from LIR to SJO airport. what would be the cost?

Flights to Liberia are limited. You can book flights on Sansa airlines from SJO which leave at 6 a.m. 11:37 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nature Air which flies from another airport in San Jose has a 2 p.m. flight. You can book both via the internet. The cost is about $90 each way. i think both limit total baggage weight to 25 kilos.

Fly or drive from San Jose to Manuel Antonio
Fly or drive from San Jose to Manuel Antonio?
I'm traveling in mid-May and flights seem to be a little scarce I'm guessing since it's the green season so I only have one flight to make it to my hotel that afternoon but I could probably make it at the same time by driving as well. Do the regional flights ever get delayed or canceled altogether because of rain? Should I just drive instead? Well my flight doesn't arrive in SJO until noon so that only leaves one flight out to Quepos for us on Sansa at 3pm which technically I could drive and get there at the same time. So just debating which is the lesser evil :)

I have not flown, but did drive.... people I know who flew said it was a quick flight over jungle, and interesting sightseeing The drive was a multi-hour ordeal, even in a four-wheel drive. Do-able, as long as you have good nerves. I think the best part was the bridge we went over with a sign that said "no se bane" and a picture of a crocodile....sure enough, down on the mud flats, there they were lounging around, maybe waiting for a sceptical tourist for dinner

By fly to MA, you mean Quepos, right? There is no landing strip in MA. The flight is about 1/2 an hour. It's bumpy but pretty fun. There are rarely delays due to rain. They will fly through it unless it gets really nasty, but it rarely does. It's usually a light to medium rain. Which flights are scarce? To CR or within CR? Nature Air has 2 flights SJ-Quepos daily, 9am and 11am. If you book now, you can get fares as low as $35 each way (plus tax). www.natureair.com Sansa has 5 flights daily to Quepos, starting at 7am until 3pm. They charge $50 each way. www.flysansa.com Driving is not horrendous any more with the new highway, much quicker than before. It will take you about 3+/- hours, if you take the new highway (which sometimes closes for days at a time if there's a lot of rain and there's landslides). Another option would be to spend the first night in San Jose and take off early the next morning. The rain doesn't start till mid-day. The mornings are usually nice. great america san jose, DROP ZONE
great america san jose, DROP ZONE .?
ohhkays , well im not so intimidated by roller coasters, but i'd never been on a drop zone coaster . wanna go to the drop zone , buh im soo damn nervous-__-'' . Lols . yeaup . i just wanted to know if it was really that scary? evryone says it is .? hows it feel like .? oh and what about the "flight deck".? i was just curious .

Haha, you're like my friend. He's scared of Drop Zone too (we had to drag him on with us). Drop Zone isn't so bad. Last last summer, I went on roller coasters and extreme rides for the first time in my life....and guess what? They were all fun! ...except maybe the spinny ones. Those made me dizzy as heck. I ended up going on almost every single roller coaster in the park -- Vertigo, Grizzly, etc. I went on Drop Zone twice the first time I went on it. It's not bad at all. The scary part is the suspense of going up. Just be prepared to fall really fast. It feels like a very fast roller coaster going down. But it ends really fast; before y'know it, the ride's over. :) Hm, I've never been on flight deck. We ran out of time before I got to that one.

Well if you live near San Jose you have probally been to Beach Board Walk well they have one of those i was so scared to go on it like So scared! Then When i wen on it really ain't as bad as it seems! Really fun actually, you'll love it if you like a thrill

flight deck is really fun its not bad at all. drop zone im gonna tell you the truth from a chicken ;] its scary going up the drop is hard to explain it feels like your intestine are gonna come out but its fun.. and when it ends all you can do is laugh. idk why its just always funny.

How can I get my fiance from Eugene to San Jose without having to book another plane seat
How can I get my fiance from Eugene to San Jose without having to book another plane seat?
I am worried my girlfriend is slightly over the size limit for a coach flight from Eugene Oregon coming into Oakland CA. The coach seats in the turbo prop plane are only 17 inches wide and she is about 19. After hearing about all those poor people getting kicked off of flights for similar issues due to exceeding the airlines size restrictions, how can I ensure this wont happen to her without needing to purchase another seat? I seriously would if that was an option but the flight is booked solid. Changing the date for her inbound flight is out of the question as she has already submitted her time off at her state job and she can't change it without consequences. Both her and I cannot afford to pay the $500+ for a later or earlier flight on that day either. Does anyone have any advice for handling the airline if by chance they remove her from a flight like they did kevin smith (who was on a much larger plane)? I am afraid the embarrassment would break her heart..

Why not spare the humiliation of it and drive together. It is s nice drive plus it' gives you time together...
