Need ride to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico (san jose east, ca)....?
I have a greatly ill grandmother who I urgently wish 2 see. And don't have enough to take a roundtrip flight, which usually costs around $400.00 to $500.00. If no one could help me with a ride, can anyone refer me to a cheap bus line that can travel from the sf bay area, and stop at Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico?

Here in mexico there are a lot of bus lines, personally i think that the best is ADO and of course its cheaper than a flight but talking about bus lines, is one of the most expensive ones. but its very safe and comfortable. excuse my english, im mexican

One of the least expensive ways to get to GDL from the States is to take a TAP bus in Tijuana to Guadalajara. about 1-1/2 days. If you can gt to San Diego, take the trolly to the MX border & walk across to the taxi's & get a taxi to the ADO bus station. Good luck . . .

Well you could always thumb it, or take a one way flight and book a return later or find another way back later! The important thing is to get down there to see your Grandmother , don't worry about your return trip now!! The lord will provide!!

Finally going to meet my grandparents but im having a hard time finding airline tickets. I have never been to an airport or been on a plane. Is there a website where i can book their tickets? What are the diffrent international airports? Trying to find a flight from Uruapan Airport in mexico to San Jose california or Fresno.

The only airline that offers commercial service from Uruapan Airport is Volaris, which only offers flights from there to Tijuana -- there is no direct or indirect air service from that airport to any airport in the US. There are two options, however, in utilizing Volaris's services to get from Uruapan to either San Jose or Fresno: 1) Volaris, in addition to their plane services, also offers bus services from certain locations, according to the information on their website. You can board a bus in Tijuana that will take you to many California cities, including Fresno. These tickets can be booked from Volaris's website 2) If you can find ground transportation from Uruapan to Toluca, then it's possible to fly on Volaris from Toluca to San Jose (with a single stop in Guadalajara). Again, these tickets can be booked directly from Volaris's website, which is the second link below.

it just adds 50 dollars to whatever my "Bid" is. I bet $1.. the total is $51.00 to fly to San jose. Is that real? Common, If i bid $20 for that flight. and i give my credit card. Is is guarenteed to me? how can they do that? i dont get it.

Yeah, you might have to be tied to the wing or something for that flight, cause I am gonna pay like $500 for an 'inside' seat

It works like an auction, with the difference that you can bid only once a day. I use priceline for hotels, and not on airfares. But I do save a lot of money on hotels.

My mom used priceline for a hotel once and ended up spending $25 more then if she would have called the same hotel and made res over the phone. PS.. Depending on when you are flying a lot of people who buy their tickets on such internet sites are NOT given an actual seat assignment on the plane and if its overbooked guess who doesn't fly..

There are some pages which enable you to type in the name of the airports you are flying from/to and see what airlines operate there. One of them is e.g. flylowcostairlines.org, good luck and find your cheapest ticket, mate:)

Here is your best option: $468 Outbound United 91 from Newark (EWR) to San Francisco (SFO); departing 6:05am and arriving 9:20am on an A319. Return United 54 from San Francisco (SFO) to Chicago O'Hare (ORD); departing 6:00am and arriving 12:09pm on a 747. <Connecting To> United 646 from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Newark (EWR); departing 1:11pm and arriving 4:30pm.
