Cheap flights to Las Vegas? Coming from Oakland, San Jose or San Francisco?
Currently, I am finding tickets over $ 200.00. The other day found them at $ 147.00 only if i acted on it then. =( Need about 3-5 tickets. Leaving from Oakland, San Jose or San Francisco. Leave either Thursday night, or Friday morning. Preferrably come home on a Sunday mid afternoon or night. Please help.

Traveling on a weekend Fri and return Sun brings up the cost. Best is Monday thru Thurs. Try Southwest which seems to be one of the cheapest these days or Alaska Some of the prices are cheap for only a short time so when you find one grab it. But don't forget the hotel reservations

You can find the cheapest flight from the Bay area to Vegas on Southwest Airlines. They also offering a $75 off. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php You should also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare.

Geez .. nothing like waiting until the last moment. Because of waiting like that you will pay more than if you would have booked further in advance. Weds is the best day to fly for price. However if you go to www.sidestep.com I found the cheapest out of San Francisco via Virgin America at $175 each. That is the best. Next time plan further in advance to take advantage of discounts.

Thursday's fares are at $164, Friday's are at $126, and Sunday's are at $154. If there is any way you could leave on Saturday and return on Tuesday (20-23), the fares are only $59 each way out of San Francisco on southwest. southwest.com has the best prices. one way $69 leaving on thurday. everyone is leaving on sunday so flights will be cheap at 7am or 11pm anything in the middle will be around $120 or $140.
